Tata Jacqueline Cottage

After several months of complete renovation — much of it carried out by ourselves — we opened our second holiday home in Plouha, on the Goëlo coast in the Côtes-d’Armor region of Brittany: Tata Jacqueline.

With approximately 170 m² of living space, this spacious holiday home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. It has been designed for group stays: family holidays, weekends with friends, and multi-generational gatherings.

Here, everyone finds their place.
You cook together, share long meals, organise impromptu table football tournaments, and gather around the wood-burning stove after a day exploring the cliffs of Plouha.

The name “Tata Jacqueline” comes from a joke during a card game, when a player would invent absurd rules claiming they came from his Aunt Jacqueline. Since then, any creative rule has been called a “Tata Jacqueline rule”. The name naturally suited this warm and convivial house.

Ground floor: shared living spaces

The spacious fully equipped kitchen-diner (fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee makers, toaster, kettle…) comfortably accommodates large meals around a generous table.

The cosy living room features sofas, armchairs, television and a wood-burning stove.
A workspace integrated into the living area allows occasional remote work, supported by fibre internet.

A relaxation area with table football completes the convivial atmosphere.

Separate WC.

First floor: comfort and simplicity

A master suite with king-size bed, private shower room with WC and dressing area.
A dormitory-style room with 4 single beds (90×200 cm), ideal for children, teenagers or friends.
An additional shower room with WC.

Second floor (attic level): added privacy

A bedroom with queen-size bed and private shower room.
A bedroom with king-size bed.
A separate WC with washbasin.

In total, the house offers 3 shower rooms and 4 WCs, providing real comfort when staying with up to 10 guests.

Outdoor spaces

Two large furnished terraces extend the living areas outdoors.
A large unfenced garden provides additional space to relax.
Two private parking spaces are available; up to three vehicles can fit if parked closely.
Barbecue, outdoor furniture and sun loungers are provided.

Tourist tax

In accordance with the regulations of the municipality of Plouha for a 3-star furnished holiday rental: 1.54€ per adult, per night (€1.40 + 10% departmental surchage (2025 & 2026).
