Mamie Cocotte Cottage

Mamie Cocotte is our first holiday cottage, fully renovated and furnished in 2022.
The name comes from my grandmother’s nickname, “Mamie Cocotte.” In French, cocotte is an old-fashioned word that also means “hen,” so the nickname was tied to the fact that she kept chickens. We chose this name as a tribute to her.

With around 65 m² of floor space, the cottage can accommodate up to four guests.

And if you’re looking for a place to gather up to 14 people, renting our two adjoining gîtes, Tata Jacqueline and Mamie Cocotte, is the perfect solution for your reunions.

Ground floor

• Living Room: A cozy space featuring a table with chairs, a sofa, armchairs, coffee tables, cushions, a flat-screen TV, a portable Bluetooth speaker, a wood-burning stove, a console table, a desk area, and internet access.
• Kitchen: Fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, capsule coffee maker, toaster, and kettle.
• Laundry Room: Includes a washing machine, ironing essentials, a vacuum cleaner, and a separate toilet.

Upper floor

A bathroom with toilet, a large bedroom with two modular sleeping areas separated by a piece of furniture with a screen and Japanese panels,

• Main Sleeping Area: A king-size bed (180×200 cm), which can be converted into two single beds (90×200 cm).
• Boudoir or Sleeping Nook: Two single beds (80×200 cm), stackable or joinable to form a double bed (160×200 cm).

👉 Our beds are customizable to your needs (4 single beds, 2 double beds, or a combination).

• Bathroom: Equipped with a shower (90x90 cm), a vanity unit with a mirror, a toilet, storage, a towel warmer, and a hairdryer.

Outdoor spaces

• At the back of the house: A private terrace and a small garden.
• On the side: Another private garden and a parking space.

During sunny days, enjoy outdoor furniture, sun loungers, deck chairs, and a barbecue.

• The cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Minimum stay

• 1 night (except Easter holidays and high season*)
• 3 nights (Easter holidays and high season*)

10% discount on the rate shown for 2 consecutive weeks' rental. Discount for rentals of several weeks: please contact us.

Tourist tax

In accordance with the regulations of the municipality of Plouha for a 3-star furnished holiday rental: €1.54 per adult, per night (€1.40 + 10% departmental surcharge) (2025).
