After several months of complete renovation, mostly carried out by ourselves, we opened the doors of our second holiday cottage in Plouha: Tata Jacqueline.
Its name comes from a joke during a game of tarot, where one player invented absurd rules, claiming they had been taught by his Aunt Jacqueline. Since then, any deviation from the official rules of a board or card game has been called a “Tata Jacqueline rule.” The playful reference felt perfect for naming this cottage.

We put all our energy into creating a welcoming, spacious, and warm place: a cottage designed for lively dinners, relaxed evenings after a day of exploring, quiet moments over coffee or breakfast, games of board games or table football that end in laughter, and gatherings where everyone naturally finds their place.

With around 170 m² of usable space, Tata Jacqueline can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. The dining kitchen, large living room, four bedrooms, and three bathrooms are all designed to make your stay easy, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Outside, you’ll find two terraces, an unfenced garden, and two dedicated parking spaces.
And if you’re looking for a place to gather up to 14 people, renting our two adjoining gîtes, Tata Jacqueline and Mamie Cocotte, is the perfect solution for your reunions.

Ground floor

• A large dining kitchen fully equipped (fridge, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, capsule coffee machine, toaster, kettle…) with a large table for sharing your meals.
• A cozy living room with sofas, a bench, an armchair, a wood-burning stove, and a television.
• A small office space (Wi-Fi and fiber Internet).
• A relaxation area with a foosball.
• A laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.
• An independent restroom.

First floor

• A master suite with a king-size bed, a private bathroom with restroom, and a small dressing area.
• A modular dormitory with four single beds (90×200 cm), which can be converted into two king-size beds or a mixed configuration based on your needs.
• A bathroom with restroom.

Second floor (attic)

• A master bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private shower room.
• An additional bedroom with a king-size bed.
• An independent restroom with a washbasin.

Located in Plouha, on the Goëlo coast in the Côtes-d’Armor region of Brittany, Mamie Cocotte is a charming 65 m² holiday cottage, fully renovated in 2022, accommodating up to 4 guests.

Situated approximately 850 metres from Plouha’s town centre, it offers a convenient base for exploring the Breton coastline while enjoying a comfortable and flexible interior.

A comfortable and flexible cottage for 4 guests

The ground floor features a welcoming living area with dining space, lounge corner, wood-burning stove and internet access. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped for independent living: induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee makers and kettle — everything you need to cook just like at home.

A utility area with washing machine, ironing facilities and WC completes this level.

Upstairs, a spacious and adaptable bedroom accommodates up to 4 guests thanks to flexible sleeping arrangements:

– 1 king-size bed (180×200 cm), which can be separated into two single beds
– 2 single beds that can be joined to form a double

The shower room is particularly bright thanks to a large skylight overlooking the field behind the house. It includes a 90×90 cm shower, vanity unit with storage, WC and heated towel rail.

Mamie Cocotte takes its name from my maternal grandmother’s affectionate nickname — she used to raise chickens. A subtle tribute to the spirit of a welcoming family home that we wanted to preserve: simple, warm and authentic.
